Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico was born into an adored family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the classic romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana is passionate about tangos and opera, and all dramatic performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing. However, she started intensive training in vocals through Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. the singer was famous as a Mexican opera singer and tenor. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. As a student and as a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups as well as choruses. In 2000, she relocated back to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007 she moved to her new home in Southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo in the traditional Latin American music at private performances. As a local performer and instructor, her love of arts and music keeps her involved in a range of initiatives. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
