Rosalia
Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is the Spanish flamenco and pop artist. Since her teenage years, Rosalia Vila has been involved in popular flamenco and music. She also explores various genres, including hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and well-known musician, has described the voice of the young singer as sassy and sweet however with a bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually getting the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to perform on the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami was her album which has won three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to win an award for Latin Album of the Year win twice.
